Happy Lohri

This year has been special till now. We celebrated our first lohri in India with our families. Though the festivities continued once we were back in US as well. Here is the outtfit I wore to one of the celebrations. Lohri is one of my favorite festival cause it includes bonfire, singing and dancing and bidding farewell to winters.

I love this suit because of the colous -  the dull pink and dull cobalt look amazing together. I saw the Dupatta at one of the shops and decided to get a suit made with it and rest is history. The dupatta is draped neatly so I could dance the night away and it was too heavy to carry any other comfortable way. Also I stuck to just big earrings as the suit was already heavy and had intricate and extremely blingy embroidery.

Sorry about the indoor pictures but it was too dark outside for pictures. But with this I am making a promise to self to make it outside in time for good pictures. Also I know I have been posting Indian outfits more frequently, no particular reason just that I have been attending multiple Indian celebrations off late.
