Middle Of Nowhere

These pictures were actually clicked on our way to San Diego. We barely like driving for long durations so driving up to San Diego was the dreaded part of the trip and we hit traffic so it took us nice 9 to 10 hours to get to there.  Suddenly the respect for people who commute for long hours everyday increased manifold in my eyes.Traffic was barely moving and we had already been driving for 4 hours straight so we decided to halt for a few minutes and stretch out and take some mush needed pictures for the blog. Yes, I hear the complaints, I don't post often enough. We found this perfect open space near a Fruit stand to take some pictures. It was exceptionally cold in bay area which is the reason behind this chunky sweater. Also I always prefer layering when traveling and top layers with one cozy sweater, jacket or coat to keep warm. It was a gloomy and cloudy day so I went straight to the cheer me up blue and orange and many other subtle shades including sweater.

This necklace was picked by my mom on one of our shopping sprees. In many ways she is the inspiration behind this blog and I get all the love for shopping from her. Whenever we shop together, she finds me the most amazing pieces that make special place in my closest. Seriously I still have clothes and accessories my mom picked out for me from years ago.

Sweater: Forever21; Shirt: H&M; Bag: FURLA (this beauty was bought from Florence (Italy) during our honeymoon. I couldn't find the  same one but am posting the link to a similar one); Jeans:  Hollister; Steve Madden; Watch: FOSSIL; Necklace: gift from mom
